Just got home from the Night of Tribute at the Pan African Film Festival and it was great! Was so inspiring seeing all the lifetime achievement award recipients. The literary achievement recipient wrote an entire book on toilet paper when that was the only way…no excuses! Phylicia Rashad took home one 2 lifetime achievement awards and I’ve never seen such an elegant woman.
I’m honoured to have met one of the founders of the fest!
